Mealtime can be tough when you are planning for multiple food preferences. While there are many things we do agree on in the culinary sense, there are many food dishes, groups and tastes that my husband and I have differing opinions about. I like sweet, he likes salty. I like whole wheat, he likes white. I could care less if there’s meat in it while he considers a meal seriously lacking if it’s vegetarian. So I’ve decided that when all else fails, make one of his favorite meals from his grandmother. Or rather in our case, re-heat
This Saturday though, we’re learning how to make one dish ourselves. Stuffed cabbages {aka galumpkis}. Apparently they take four hours. Good thing we’re learning from the master herself. Wish us luck!

{galumpkis – or stuffed cabbages}

{meatballs are another good one – hoping to get this recipe next}
